Shop.
HILL Shop Tahko is exactly the kind of store you originally planned to just “pop into to look at some gloves”—but end up leaving with a new pair of ski goggles, a technical base layer, and inspiration for your next ski trip. Located in a cove in Tahkolahti next to the rental shop, the store brings together under one roof a carefully curated selection of skiing, snowboarding, cycling, and outdoor gear for people who actually use it—not just pose in it during après-ski.
Our selection includes high-quality premium brands such as Oakley, Sweet Protection, Mons Royale, Hestra, Jones, ThirtyTwo, and Black Diamond, as well as clothing and gear for Tahko’s varied weather conditions, days on the slopes, bike park riding, and active weekends. The HILL team knows Tahko’s slopes, trails, and the vibe of the season through hands-on experience, so you’ll get genuinely useful tips—not just generic sales talk. Whether you’re planning a day of carving in the spring sunshine, an evening ride on an e-fatbike, or a weekend getaway, HILL Shop Tahko helps you look good and, above all, enjoy yourself more where Tahko is at its best—outdoors.
Maintenance.
Everything seems easy when your gear works as it should. HILL Service Tahko keeps your skis, snowboards, and bikes in top shape—whether you’re hitting the soft afternoon slopes in the spring, carving on icy mornings, or tackling the toughest runs at the bike park. If your edges aren’t holding up anymore, your skis aren’t gliding, or your bike starts sounding like it’s had a rougher weekend than its owner, HILL’s service will get you back in the game in no time.
The service center in Tahkolaakso offers waxing, edge sharpening, binding adjustments, full service, and wheel maintenance for active riding and the outdoor season. Equipment isn’t handled here on an assembly line; instead, it’s serviced for people who actually use it on the slopes, in the park, on the trails, and on the water. And yes—sometimes a ski serviced with a little love feels almost better than a new one. At least for the first few turns.
